Geri and Freki — Odin's Two Wolves

Geri and Freki are Odin's two wolves. Geri means "the greedy one," and Freki means "the ravenous one." They are the god's faithful companions, whom he feeds with his own food, for Odin himself has no need of food and drinks only wine. They are mentioned in both the Poetic Edda and the Prose Edda, as well as in other works of Norse literature.
