Gullfaxi

Gullfaxi is a magical horse in Norse mythology, whose name translates as "golden mane." According to the myths, he originally belonged to the giant Hrungnir, lord of Jotunheim, before the god Thor gave him to his son Magni, as a reward for his help in the battle against the giant. Magni had torn away the leg of Hrungnir, which lay pinning down the unconscious Thor and threatened to smother him.

The horse could travel swiftly across land, through the air, and over water, though he was not as fast as Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged horse.
