Heidrun is a goat in Norse mythology who stands atop the roof of Valhalla, grazing on the leaves of the World Tree Yggdrasil. Her inexhaustible supply of mead flows from her udder, and the Valkyries carry it to the warriors and to the Æsir of Valhalla.
